Fundamentals of Paint: Power Weapons and Glow Effects
@plus_2_to_paint, in collaboration with Outrider Games, is hosting an exciting miniature painting class!
After the fantastic turnout and feedback from our Skintone Classes, +2 to Paint Wargaming Commission Studio is back at Outrider Games with a brand-new workshop! This time, we’re diving into the vibrant world of power weapons and magical glow effects—perfect for making plasma rifles hum with energy or swords blaze with arcane light.
In this full day class, you’ll learn how to create realistic and striking glow effects, blend vibrant colors, and make your weapon details pop on the tabletop. Whether it’s blue plasma, green enchantments, or red-hot energy blades, we’ve got you covered.
Equipment to Bring:
Tupperware box/Wet Palette
Kitchen roll
Greaseproof paper
Brushes (Size 2, 0, and smaller if you prefer)
Cheap, low-power hairdryer
Painting lamp
Paints, brushes, and wet palettes are available to purchase if you need any supplies.

Welcome to the Dome!
Your gang has been kidnapped, drugged, and taken uphive to participate in a TV game show on the illustrious channel “Spireview 9”. The show? None other than Blood Dome: LIVE!
This is a single-day Necromunda event filled with deadly traps, dramatic betrayals, and gory spectacles. Your goal: survive the episodes, and make it to the grand finale.

Notes on List Building: Necromunda is about story, drama, and cinematic carnage. Build a list to thrill, not just to kill. Let the Blood Dome be your stage. If you bring shard grenades you will be pelted with an assortment of condiments.
Also, you may have noticed that trips to the Sawbones costs cash… a prudent ganger might save some creds. But, a stipend of credits may be awarded after games or at the discretion of the show producers for particularly brutal action/leaning into narrative.
